Prior to the treatment

Before the treatment, we recommend booking in an appointment with one of our experts in order to see whether you are suitable to have the treatment. Moreover, we can also discuss in more detail what the procedure entails.

During the Treatment

The procedure involves 3 steps.

The first step involves drawing a small amount of blood, usually from the arm. The blood collected will be put into a centrifuge where it will be spun in order to separate and isolate the Platelet Rich Plasma (also known as PRP). This substance contains growth factors (platelets) and has been identified to be very helpful in healing damaged tissue by increasing collagen and elastin production.
Once we have isolated the Platelet Rich Plasma, we will start administering the substance into specific areas using a needle.

After the Treatment

After the treatment, your skin may look slightly red and swollen. As this procedure involves the use of needles, there is a chance you will also experience some light bruising. All of this, however, should go by itself completely in the following days.

RESULTS

You will be able to see an immediate difference in the aspect of your skin. However, optimum results will be developing over the next few months as the healing process continues.
