The IPL Face Rejuvenation treatment works on restoring the youth of your skin, as well as reducing skin imperfections. In order to achieve this, pulsed light is delivered to the skin and the heat energy stimulates the production of new collagen. This results in a reduction of visible signs of premature ageing such as sun damage, brown spots & visible veins.

Prior to the treatment

Before the treatment, you will meet with one of our practitioners who will talk you through the entire procedure. We will also provide you with a patch test in order to determine whether you are suitable for the IPL face rejuvenation.

During the Treatment

The treatment will start with us cleansing your skin of impurities or make up residue. We will then begin by applying the laser light to the areas you wish to treat. Some patients have described the feeling of the laser on their complexion as being lightly flicked over with an elastic band. The entire process should not last longer than 30 minutes, however the duration depends on the condition treated.

After the Treatment

After the treatment your skin will look and feel sunburnt, therefore you will experience redness for a few hours. However, this will subside and during the next days, your skin will start flaking.

RESULTS

This procedure provides great results in the condition of your skin. They can last up to 24 months, depending on your skincare regime and how well you are protecting your skin against environmental factors.
