Dermapen is a method of micro-needling. Microneedling is an effective rejuvenation treatment as it tackles scarring from either acne or stretch marks. Dark spots and freckles caused by environmental factors can be treated as well.

Moreover, this treatment can treat signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles or skin laxity. The Dermapen treatment is a form of collagen therapy, where the device is passed over the area you wish to treat and tiny needles are inserted into the skin, leaving behind small puncture wounds.

These “wounds” trigger the body’s own natural healing properties and encourage the skin to produce new collagen and elastin. As the body repairs the skin, you will see continuous improvement.

Prior to the treatment

Prior to the treatment, you will have a consultation with one of our practitioners where your skin will be analysed and you can also discuss about your goals.

During the Treatment

First, your skin will be cleansed by one of our expert practitioners. The dermapen is placed on the area you want to treat, where tiny needles cause punctures to the skin. These small punctures have properties in stimulating the body’s own natural healing abilities, which in turn rejuvenates the skin. A session usually lasts around 20 minutes for the face. For larger areas on the body, it can take up to 90 minutes.

After the Treatment

After the treatment you may experience some minor redness and swelling. This should subside in a few hours. In cases where the treatment was more intensive, these side effects could go on for a maximum of a few days.
